What to Expect

Your mokoro safari will begin with a pick-up from your hotel or lodge in Maun. You will then be transferred by motorboat to Audi Camp. From there, you will transfer to a mokoro canoe with your experienced poler.

Your poler will paddle you through the shallow waters of the delta, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of aquatic wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and waterbirds. You will also learn about the amazing ecosystem of the Okavango Delta.

At lunchtime, you will break for a picnic lunch on an island. After lunch, you will have the option to go on a nature walk or simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

In the afternoon, you will continue your mokoro exploration of the delta. You will visit more channels and see more wildlife.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to Audi Camp by motorboat. From there, you will be transferred back to your hotel or lodge in Maun.
